Redmi has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, which is not an entirely new model but rather a new variant of the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G. This variant comes with improved RAM and storage configurations. The company initially unveiled the phone at the beginning of the year, offering the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G in three different configurations.

The newly launched variant now boasts 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor and features a 5000mAh battery. Let’s delve into the details regarding its price and specifications.

Pricing of Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G

Previously, the smartphone was available in three configurations: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Now, the brand has introduced a new variant with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. This particular variant is priced at ₹28,999 and can be purchased from Mi.com.

The phone is also available on Flipkart, with the base variant priced at ₹23,999. It comes in three color options: Frosted Blue, Stardust Purple, and Onyx Black.

Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G was launched alongside the Redmi Note 12 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G earlier this year. It features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The phone sports a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera.

To keep the device running, it is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
